The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you perform ablution, begin with your right side."Abu al-Hasan bin Salama said, Abu Hatim narrated to us, Ibn Salih, Ibn Nufayl, and others narrated to us, they said, Zuhayr narrated to us, and he mentioned something similar.
حدثنا محمد بن يحيى حدثنا أبو جعفر النفيلي حدثنا زهير بن معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا توضأتم فابدءوا بميامنكم قال أبو الحسن بن سلمة حدثنا أبو حاتم حدثنا ابن صالح وابن نفيل وغيرهما قالوا حدثنا زهير فذكر نحوه

[Its isnad is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it, in the book of clothing, chapter on putting on sandals, no. 4141.Amash used the ambiguous form "an" in his transmission, as mentioned previously at hadith no. 178. Shubah narrated it from him with the wording, "When he put on a garment, he would start with his right side," and this is the sahih version.
