He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "When a man enters his house and mentions the name of Allah upon entering and when he begins his meal, Satan says to his followers, 'You have no place to spend the night here and no supper.' But when he enters without mentioning Allah, Satan says, 'You have found a place to spend the night.' And if he does not mention Allah when he begins his meal, Satan says, 'You have found both a place to spend the night and supper.'"
حدثنا أبو بشر بكر بن خلف حدثنا أبو عاصم عن ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير
أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول إذا دخل الرجل بيته فذكر الله عند دخوله وعند طعامه قال الشيطان لا مبيت لكم ولا عشاء وإذا دخل ولم يذكر الله عند دخوله قال الشيطان أدركتم المبيت فإذا لم يذكر الله عند طعامه قال أدركتم المبيت والعشاء
