The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever says in the morning, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things,' will have the equivalent reward of freeing a slave from the descendants of Ismail. Ten sins will be wiped from his record, ten ranks will be raised for him, and he will be under Allah's protection from Satan until evening. If he says it in the evening, the same applies until morning."A man saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream and said, "Messenger of Allah, Abu Ayyash narrates such and such from you."He replied, "Abu Ayyash has spoken the truth."
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Manners, chapter on what one says upon waking in the morning, hadith no. 5077, from the hadith of Hammad, with this wording.
