The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no supplication a servant can make that is better than, 'O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the next.'"
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن هشام صاحب الدستوائي عن قتادة عن العلاء بن زياد العدوي
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من دعوة يدعو بها العبد أفضل من اللهم إني أسألك المعافاة في الدنيا والآخرة
Its isnad is daif, but Busiri graded it sahih. Qatada used ambiguous transmission wording, as noted previously at no. 175, and there is disagreement in the chain. It has a supporting narration in meaning in Majma al-Zawaid, 10/170, where he said, Bazzar narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
