The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Two phrases that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subhan Allah wa bi-hamdihi, Subhan Allah al-Azeem."
حدثنا أبو بكر وعلي بن محمد قالا حدثنا محمد بن فضيل عن عمارة بن القعقاع عن أبي زرعة
قال رسول الله ﷺ كلمتان خفيفتان على اللسان ثقيلتان في الميزان حبيبتان إلى الرحمن سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم
Bukhari transmitted it in the Book of Supplications, chapter on the excellence of tasbih, 6406/6682, 7563, and Muslim transmitted it in the Book of Remembrance and Supplication, chapter on the excellence of tahlil, tasbih, and supplication, hadith 2694/31, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Fudayl bin Ghazwan through this route, and it is also in his Kitab al-Dua, hadith 480.
