The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not bestow a blessing upon a servant who then says, 'Praise be to Allah,' except that what he was given is better than what he received."
حدثنا الحسن بن علي الخلال حدثنا أبو عاصم عن شبيب بن بشر
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أنعم الله على عبد نعمة فقال الحمد لله إلا كان الذي أعطاه أفضل مما أخذ
[Its isnad is hasan] Ibn Sunni, no. 356, and Kharaiti in Fadilat al-Shukr narrated it, from the hadith of Abu Asim, through him, see also no. 2775, and Busiri graded it hasan.
