I and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the ritual bath from a single vessel.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن جابر بن زيد عن ابن عباس
كنت أغتسل أنا ورسول الله ﷺ من إناء واحد
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Menstruation, in the chapter on the recommended amount of water and so on, hadith no. 322, and Ibn Abu Shayba and others narrated it as well through the same chain.
