The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from giving our slaves any of four names, Aflah, Nafi, Rabah, and Yasar.
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا المعتمر بن سليمان عن الركين عن أبيه
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن نسمي رقيقنا أربعة أسماء أفلح ونافع ورباح ويسار
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Manners, chapter on the dislike of naming with ugly names or "Yanafi" and the like, hadith no. 2136, from Ibn Abu Shayba with this chain.
