Some Jews came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Death be upon you, Abu Qasim."He replied, "And upon you."
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن مسلم عن مسروق
أنه أتى النبي ﷺ ناس من اليهود فقالوا السام عليك يا أبا القاسم فقال وعليكم
Muslim narrated it, "Chapter on the prohibition of initiating the greeting of peace with the People of the Book, and how to respond to them," hadith no. 11/2165, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya, through this route, and it is also found in Musannaf, 8/442.
