Ibn Majah 3684

[Its chain is daif] Reported by Abu Dawud, Zakat, chapter on the merit of giving water to drink, no. 1679, from the hadith of Qatada through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 858, as did Hakim, 1/414, saying it meets the standard of the two Shaykhs, but Dhahabi rejected this, saying, "It is not connected. Saeed did not meet Ubadah," as Munziri also stated. It has a daif corroborating narration in Nasai, no. 3641.
