The Prophet ﷺ said, "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image."
حدثنا أبو بكر حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن علي بن مدرك عن أبي زرعة عن عبد الله بن نجي عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتا فيه كلب ولا صورة
[Its isnad is hasan] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Purification, Chapter on One in a State of Major Impurity Delaying Ghusl, no. 227, from the hadith of Shubah, with this chain. Ibn Hibban, Hakim (1/171), and Dhahabi graded it sahih.
