Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who had dyed his hair with henna and said, "How beautiful this is."Then he passed by another who had dyed his hair with henna and katam, and said, "This is more beautiful than the first."Then he passed by another who had dyed his hair with yellow, and said, "This is more beautiful than all of them."The narrator said, Tawus used to dye his hair yellow.

عن ابن عباس قال

مر النبي ﷺ على رجل قد خضب بالحناء فقال ما أحسن هذا ثم مر بآخر قد خضب بالحناء والكتم فقال هذا أحسن من هذا ثم مر بآخر قد خضب بالصفرة فقال هذا أحسن من هذا كله قال وكان طاوس يصفر
