A silk garment, and he said, "Messenger of Allah, why don't you buy this garment to wear when receiving delegations and on Fridays?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "This is worn only by one who has no share in the Hereafter."

حلة سيراء من حرير فقال يا رسول الله لو ابتعت هذه الحلة للوفد وليوم الجمعة فقال رسول الله ﷺ إنما يلبس هذه من لا خلاق له في الآخرة
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Dress and Adornment, Chapter on the Prohibition of Wearing Silk and the Like for Men, hadith no. 6/2068, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Umar in a condensed form, and its basis is agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim] from the hadith of Malik, from Nafi (Bukhari, hadith nos. 886, 2612, and Muslim), and it is also found in the Muwatta (Dress: 18).
