The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade two ways of wearing a garment. One is the Samma wrap, and the other is sitting with one's knees drawn up in a single garment while the private parts are exposed to the sky.

نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن لبستين اشتمال الصماء والاحتباء في ثوب واحد وأنت مفض فرجك إلى السماء
Its chain of transmission is hasan, and Busiri graded it sahih.Saad bin Saeed, the brother of Yahya bin Saeed, is hasan al-hadith. The majority of scholars deemed him reliable, and the rest of the chain is sahih.
