The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagion, no evil omen, no hama, and no Safar."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة ولا صفر
Graded sahih. Tahawi reported it in Maani Athar, 4/307, from the hadith of Abu Ahwas, through this chain, 4/307, and it is also in Musannaf, 9/40. Busiri graded it sahih. Simak's narration from Ikrima was already discussed regarding its status, hadith 171. The hadith has very many corroborating narrations.
