The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no contagion and no evil omen, and I love a good omen."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أنبأنا شعبة عن قتادة
قال النبي ﷺ لا عدوى ولا طيرة وأحب الفأل الصالح
Bukhari narrated it in Sahih Bukhari, Medicine, chapter "There is no contagious disease" (no. 5776), and Muslim narrated it, Greetings, chapter "Bad omens, good omens, and what may bring ill fortune" (no. 2224/112), from the hadith of Shubah, through this same chain.
