The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Use kohl made from ithmid, for it sharpens the eyesight and makes the lashes grow."
حدثنا أبو سلمة يحيى بن خلف حدثنا أبو عاصم حدثني عثمان بن عبد الملك قال سمعت
قال رسول الله ﷺ عليكم بالإثمد فإنه يجلو البصر وينبت الشعر
Its isnad is hasan. Hakim reported it, 4/207, from the hadith of Abu Asim, through this route, and graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him, while Busiri graded it hasan. Part of it has already appeared, hadith 3448.
