Ubayy bin Kaab fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ sent him a physician who cauterized him on his median vein.
حدثنا عمرو بن رافع حدثنا محمد بن عبيد الطنافسي عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان
مرض أبي بن كعب مرضا فأرسل إليه النبي ﷺ طبيبا فكواه على أكحله
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Medicine, chapter "For every ailment there is a remedy, and the recommendation of seeking treatment," hadith no. 2207, from the hadith of Amash, through this same chain.
