Umm Qays bint Muhsin reported,

Umm Qays bint Muhsin said, "I brought a son of mine to the Prophet ﷺ after I had pressed his throat to treat a swelling there."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Why do you press your children's throats like this? Use this Indian wood, for it holds seven remedies. It is snuffed up the nose for a swollen throat and poured into the side of the mouth for pleurisy."Ahmad bin Amr bin Sarh Misri reported to us, Abdullah bin Wahb reported to us, Yunus informed us, from Ibn Shihab, from Ubaydullah, from Umm Qays bint Muhsin, from the Prophet ﷺ, a similar report. Yunus explained that "I had pressed" means she squeezed it with her fingers.

دخلت بابن لي على النبي ﷺ وقد أعلقت عليه من العذرة فقال علام تدغرن أولادكن بهذا العلاق عليكم بهذا العود الهندي فإن فيه سبعة أشفية يسعط به من العذرة ويلد به من ذات الجنب حدثنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح المصري حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب أنبأنا يونس عن ابن شهاب عن عبيد الله عن أم قيس بنت محصن عن النبي ﷺ بنحوه قال يونس أعلقت يعني غمزت
