The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking directly from the mouths of waterskins by bending them over.
حدثنا أحمد بن عمرو بن السرح حدثنا ابن وهب عن يونس عن ابن شهاب عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن اختناث الأسقية أن يشرب من أفواهها
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Drinks, Chapter on Bending the Necks of Waterskins, no. 5626, from the hadith of Yunus with this chain, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks, Chapter on the Etiquettes and Rulings of Food and Drink, no. 2023/111, from the hadith of Ibn Wahb with this chain.
