The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking from vessels of gold and silver and said, "They are for them in this world, and they are for you in the Hereafter."
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الملك بن أبي الشوارب حدثنا أبو عوانة عن أبي بشر عن مجاهد عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي ليلى
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الشرب في آنية الذهب والفضة وقال هي لهم في الدنيا وهي لكم في الآخرة
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Foods, chapter "Eating from a Silver-Rimmed Vessel," hadith no. 5426, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Dress and Adornment, chapter "The Prohibition of Using Vessels of Gold and Silver for Men and Women," etc., hadith no. 2067, from the hadith of Mujahid, through the same chain.
