The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade making nabidh in vessels coated with pitch or in gourds.
حدثنا محمد بن رمح أنبأنا الليث بن سعد عن نافع
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن ينبذ في المزفت والقرع
Muslim reported it in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the prohibition of infusing nabidh in vessels coated with pitch, gourds, glazed jars, and hollowed-out wood, etc., no. 1997/49, from the hadith of Nafi, with this wording.
