The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade preparing nabidh in hollowed-out stumps, tar-coated vessels, gourds, and green-glazed jars, and he said, "Every intoxicant is forbidden."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا محمد بن بشر عن محمد بن عمرو حدثنا أبو سلمة
نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن ينبذ في النقير والمزفت والدباء والحنتمة وقال كل مسكر حرام
[Sahih]Nasai narrated it: 8/297, Drinks, Chapter on the prohibition of every drink that intoxicates, no. 5592, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, through him. Busiri said, this isnad is sahih, its narrators are reliable. I say, its isnad is hasan, and it has very many corroborating narrations.
