The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every intoxicant is khamr, and every khamr is forbidden."
حدثنا سهل حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن محمد بن عمرو بن علقمة عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ كل مسكر خمر وكل خمر حرام
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it in Ashribah, chapter on what has been said about every intoxicant being unlawful, no. 1864, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, and he said, hasan sahih.
