I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Every intoxicant is forbidden to every believer." This is the wording of the people of Raqqa.
[Hasan] Reported by Abu Yaala, 13/342, no. 7355, from the hadith of Ali bin Maymun, with this chain, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1387, as did Busiri, who said, "This chain is sahih, its men are trustworthy."Sulayman bin Abdullah, the group of narrators reported from him, and Ibn Hibban and Busiri deemed him trustworthy, while the author of Taqrib deemed him daif. Dhahabi said in Al-Mujarrad fi Asma al-Rijal (887), "He has few narrations."I say, the ruling of daif on him is the stronger view, but the underlying hadith has very many supporting witnesses.
