A bunch of grapes from Taif was gifted to the Prophet ﷺ. He called me and said, "Take this cluster and bring it to your mother." But I ate it before delivering it to her.Several nights later, he asked me, "What happened to the cluster? Did you bring it to your mother?"I replied, "No."So he named me Ghudar, the treacherous one.

أهدي للنبي ﷺ عنب من الطائف فدعاني فقال خذ هذا العنقود فأبلغه أمك فأكلته قبل أن أبلغه إياها فلما كان بعد ليال قال لي ما فعل العنقود هل أبلغته أمك قلت لا فسماني غدر

[Its chain of transmission is daif] Tabarani reported it in al-Awsat, 2/536, no. 1920, from the hadith of Uthman bin Saeed Himsi, with the same chain, and Busiri said, "This chain of transmission is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy." Abdul-Rahman bin Irq was only deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban. Ibn Sunni related in the book al-Mazinah something similar from the hadith of Abdullah bin Busr Mazini, with some variation.
