I prepared some food and invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He came, but when he saw images in the house, he turned back.
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا وكيع عن هشام الدستوائي عن قتادة عن سعيد بن المسيب
صنعت طعاما فدعوت رسول الله ﷺ فجاء فرأى في البيت تصاوير فرجع
[Sahih] Nasai narrated it: 8/213, Chapter on Adornment, Section on Images, no. 5353, from the hadith of Waki, with this wording. Qatada was mentioned earlier, no. 175, and the hadith that follows serves as a corroborating witness for it.
