The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to throw away the meat of domestic donkeys, both raw and cooked, and after that he did not command us regarding it again.
حدثنا سويد بن سعيد حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن عاصم عن الشعبي
أمرنا رسول الله ﷺ أن نلقي لحوم الحمر الأهلية نيئة ونضيجة ثم لم يأمرنا به بعد
Bukhari narrated it in Maghazi, the chapter on the Battle of Khaybar, no. 4226, and Muslim narrated it in Hunting and Slaughtered Animals, the chapter on the prohibition of eating the meat of domestic donkeys, no. 1938/31, from the hadith of Asim, with this wording.
