The Prophet ﷺ passed by a man who was dragging a sheep by its ear, and he said, "Leave its ear alone and take hold of the side of its neck."

[Its chain of transmission is very daif]: Busiri graded it daif because of Musa bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim, previously mentioned in hadith 1438. Ibn Abu Hatim mentioned it in Al-Ilal (2/241, hadith 2214) from the hadith of Uqbah with this same wording, and Abu Hatim said, "These are unrecognized hadiths, as if fabricated. Musa's hadith is very daif, and his father never heard from Jabir or Abu Saeed."
