The Prophet ﷺ included among his sacrificial camels a camel that had belonged to Abu Jahl, with a silver nose-ring.

أن النبي ﷺ أهدى في بدنه جملا لأبي جهل برته من فضة
[Hasan] It contains defects.Sufyan has been mentioned before, no. 162. Ibn Abu Layla has been mentioned before, no. 854. Hakam has been mentioned before, no. 1192. It has corroborating narrations, among them what Abu Dawud reported, no. 1749, with a hasan chain, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas, and Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 2897, 2898, and Hakim graded it according to the condition of Muslim, 1/467, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
