Safiya bint Huyayy began menstruating after she had performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah.Ayesha said, "I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he asked, 'Is she going to detain us?'"I replied, "She has already performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah, but began menstruating afterward."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Then let her depart."

حاضت صفية بنت حيي بعد ما أفاضت قالت عائشة فذكرت ذلك لرسول الله ﷺ فقال أحابستنا هي فقلت إنها قد أفاضت ثم حاضت بعد ذلك قال رسول الله ﷺ فلتنفر
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Military Expeditions, Chapter on the Farewell Hajj, Hadith 4401, from the hadith of Zuhri, with this wording. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on the Obligation of the Farewell Tawaf and Its Exemption for the Menstruating Woman, Hadith 1211, Hadith 1328, from Ramh.
