Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman reported,
I was sitting with Ibn Abbas when a man came to him.Ibn Abbas asked, "Where have you come from?"The man replied, "From Zamzam."Ibn Abbas asked, "Did you drink from it as you should?"The man asked, "How is that?"Ibn Abbas said, "When you drink from it, face the qiblah, mention the name of Allah, breathe three times, and drink your fill. When you finish, praise Allah 
, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The sign distinguishing us from the hypocrites is that they do not drink their fill from Zamzam.'"

عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر قال
كنت عند ابن عباس جالسا فجاءه رجل فقال من أين جئت قال من زمزم قال فشربت منها كما ينبغي قال وكيف قال إذا شربت منها فاستقبل القبلة واذكر اسم الله وتنفس ثلاثا وتضلع منها فإذا فرغت فاحمد الله عز وجل فإن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن آية ما بيننا وبين المنافقين إنهم لا يتضلعون من زمزم
Takhrij, [hasan]. Bukhari narrated it in Tarikh al-Kabir (1/158) from Ubaydullah, in abridged form, and Makki bin Ibrahim and Abdullah bin Mubarak followed him in narrating it. Busiri said, "This isnad is sahih, its narrators are trustworthy." Diya Maqdisi also included it in Mukhtarah.Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Hibban and Busiri. Uthman bin Aswad said, "We used to sit with Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Bakr, and we would not get up from his company without having gained, Allah willing, some good knowledge" (Masail Ibn Abu Shayba, 1, per my verification). Amr bin Dinar and others narrated from him, so his hadith does not fall below the level of hasan.There are many corroborating narrations for this hadith. Among them, Fakihi said in Akhbar Makkah (2/28, no. 1079), "Husayn bin Hasan bin Harb Sulami Marwazi narrated to us, he said, Fadl bin Musa informed us, he said, Uthman bin Aswad narrated to us, from Ibn Abu Mulayka, from Ibn Abbas," transmitting only the marfu portion of it. This is a good corroboration for Ibn Abdul-Rahman.
