The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted the camel herders a concession regarding spending the night away from Mina, allowing them to throw the pebbles on the Day of Sacrifice, then to combine the throwing of the two days following the Day of Sacrifice and throw on one of them.Malik said, "I believe he said, on the first of the two days, then they throw on the day of departure."

رخص رسول الله ﷺ لرعاء الإبل في البيتوتة أن يرموا يوم النحر ثم يجمعوا رمي يومين بعد النحر فيرمونه في أحدهما قال مالك ظننت أنه قال في الأول منهما ثم يرمون يوم النفر
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Tirmidhi reported it in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on the concession granted to shepherds to throw stones one day and leave it another day, hadith no. 955, from the hadith of Abdul-Razzaq with this chain, and he said, hasan sahih, and he gave it preference over the previous narration. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 2975, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith no. 1015, and Ibn Jarud, hadith no. 478, and Hakim, 3/420 and 1/478, and Dhahabi agreed with him. It is also found in Nayl al-Maqsud, hadith no. 1975, by way of Malik with this chain, and it is in the Muwatta (Yahya's narration), 1/408. Ibn Jurayj followed him in narrating it (Bayhaqi, 5/150–151).
