The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said on the morning of Aqaba, while he was on his she-camel, "Pick up some pebbles for me." So I picked up seven pebbles for him, the size of those used for flicking. He began to shake them in his palm, saying, "Throw with the likes of these."Then he said, "People, beware of going to extremes in religion, for those who came before you were destroyed by going to extremes in religion."
