Ibn Umar was asked in which month the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Umrah.He replied, "In Rajab."Ayesha said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed Umrah in Rajab, and he never performed any Umrah except that he," meaning Ibn Umar, "was with him."
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا يحيى بن آدم عن أبي بكر بن عياش عن الأعمش عن حبيب يعني ابن أبي ثابت
سئل ابن عمر في أي شهر اعتمر رسول الله ﷺ قال في رجب فقالت عائشة ما اعتمر رسول الله ﷺ في رجب قط وما اعتمر إلا وهو معه تعني ابن عمر
[Sahih] Tirmidhi narrated it in Hajj, chapter on what has been said about the minor pilgrimage in Rajab, no. 936, from Abu Kurayb through this route, and he said it is a solitary narration. Habib did not hear from Urwa. Muslim narrated it, no. 1255, through another route from Urwa bin Zubayr through this route, and with this route the hadith is sahih.
