The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never performed Umrah except in the month of Dhul-Qadah.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن الأعمش عن مجاهد عن حبيب عن عروة
لم يعتمر رسول الله ﷺ عمرة إلا في ذي القعدة
[Sahih] Ahmad narrated it (2/143) from Ibn Numayr, with the same wording, except that he said "in Dhul-Hijjah" instead of "Dhul-Qaidah." It has corroborating narrations in Muslim, hadith 1253, and Bukhari, hadith 1778, and others.
