I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ hastening between Safa and Marwa, saying, "One should not cross the valley except at a brisk pace."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وعلي بن محمد قالا حدثنا وكيع حدثنا هشام الدستوائي عن بديل بن ميسرة عن صفية بنت شيبة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يسعى بين الصفا والمروة وهو يقول لا يقطع الأبطح إلا شدا
[Sahih] Ahmad transmitted it, 6/404, from the hadith of Hisham with the same wording. Hammad bin Zayd also narrated it, and Nasai in Rites of Hajj, 177, hadith 2983, from Budayl, from Mughira bin Hakeem, from Safiyyah, from a woman (a companion), with the same wording, and its chain is sahih.
