He said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a person in the state of ihram from wearing a garment dyed with wars or saffron.
حدثنا أبو مصعب حدثنا مالك بن أنس عن عبد الله بن دينار
أنه قال نهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يلبس المحرم ثوبا مصبوغا بورس أو زعفران
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Clothing, chapter on leather sandals and the like, no. 5852, and Muslim in the Book of Hajj, the preceding chapter, no. 3/1177, from the hadith of Malik through this same chain. It is also found in Muwatta (Yahya, 1/325, and Abu Musab, 1/412, no. 1040).
