When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his foot in the stirrup and his mount stood up straight with him, he would begin the talbiyah from beside the mosque of Dhul-Hulayfah.
حدثنا محرز بن سلمة العدني حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد الدراوردي حدثني عبيد الله بن عمر عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا أدخل رجله في الغرز واستوت به راحلته أهل من عند مسجد ذي الحليفة
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on jihad, section on the stirrup and stirrup-strap for the animal, hadith no. 2865, and Muslim narrated it in the chapter on Hajj, and so on, hadith no. 27/1187, from the hadith of Ubaydullah with this wording.
