Asma bint Umays gave birth to Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, so she sent word to the Prophet ﷺ, and he instructed her to perform a ritual bath, fasten a cloth securely around herself, and then enter the state of ihram.

نفست أسماء بنت عميس بمحمد بن أبي بكر فأرسلت إلى النبي ﷺ فأمرها أن تغتسل وتستثفر بثوب ثم تهل
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, in the chapter on the validity of the ihram of a woman who has given birth and the recommendation that she perform ghusl for the ihram, etc., no. 1210, from the hadith of Jafar, by the same chain.
