The Prophet ﷺ said, "The warrior in the path of Allah, the pilgrim performing Hajj, and the one performing Umrah are the delegation of Allah. He called them and they answered, and they asked Him and He granted them."
حدثنا محمد بن طريف حدثنا عمران بن عيينة عن عطاء بن السائب عن مجاهد
عن النبي ﷺ قال الغازي في سبيل الله والحاج والمعتمر وفد الله دعاهم فأجابوه وسألوه فأعطاهم
[Hasan] Tabarani reported it (13/422, no. 13556) from the hadith of Imran through this same chain, and Busiri graded it hasan, while Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (Mawarid, no. 964). It has a hasan corroborating narration in Nasai (6/16, 5/113), which Ibn Khuzayma graded sahih (4/130, no. 2511), as did Ibn Hibban (no. 965), and Hakim and Dhahabi (no. 2511).
