The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Were it not that I would burden my community, I would have commanded them to use the siwak before every prayer."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا أبو أسامة وعبد الله بن نمير عن عبيد الله بن عمر عن سعيد بن أبي سعيد المقبري
قال رسول الله ﷺ لولا أن أشق على أمتي لأمرتهم بالسواك عند كل صلاة
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Nasai narrated it in Al-Kubra, h: 3034, 3037, from Ubaydullah bin Umar through this route.
