The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in prayer on the day of Hunayn beside a camel from the spoils of war. Then he reached out and took something from the camel, a tuft of its fur, meaning a Wabra, and held it between his two fingers. Then he said, "People, this belongs to your spoils. Hand over even a thread and a needle, anything more than that and anything less than that. For misappropriation of spoils will be a disgrace upon those who commit it on the Day of Resurrection, a shame, and a fire."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا أبو أسامة عن أبي سنان عيسى بن سنان عن يعلى بن شداد
صلى بنا رسول الله ﷺ يوم حنين إلى جنب بعير من المقاسم ثم تناول شيئا من البعير فأخذ منه قردة يعني وبرة فجعل بين إصبعيه ثم قال يا أيها الناس إن هذا من غنائمكم أدوا الخيط والمخيط فما فوق ذلك فما دون ذلك فإن الغلول عار على أهله يوم القيامة وشنار ونار
[Hasan] Busiri graded it hasan. It contains Isa bin Sinan, who is daif, the majority declared him daif, but his hadith has many corroborating witnesses in Abu Dawud, no. 2694, Ibn Hibban, no. 1693, and Hakim, 2/135, 136, and others.
