The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to a village called Ubna and said, "Go to Ubna in the morning, then burn it."
حدثنا محمد بن إسمعيل بن سمرة حدثنا وكيع عن صالح بن أبي الأخضر عن الزهري عن عروة بن الزبير
بعثني رسول الله ﷺ إلى قرية يقال لها أبنى فقال ائت أبنى صباحا ثم حرق
[Its chain is daif]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Jihad, chapter on burning in enemy territory, hadith no. 2616, from Salih through this route. See hadith no. 1098 regarding his status, and there is another defect in it, see hadith no. 707.
