I was present at a battle, and Abdullah bin Rawaha said, "My soul, do I see you averse to Paradise? I swear by Allah, you shall descend into it, willingly or unwillingly."

حضرت حربا فقال عبد الله بن رواحة يا نفس ألا أراك تكرهين الجنه أحلف بالله لتنزلنه طائعة أو لتكرهنه
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Ibn Saad narrated it in al-Tabaqat, 3/529, from Affan bin Muslim, with this same wording. It is also found in Musannaf Ibn Abu Shayba, 8/526, and Busiri graded it hasan.
