The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has granted you, as a charity at the time of your death, a third of your wealth as an increase in your good deeds."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن طلحة بن عمرو عن عطاء
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله تصدق عليكم عند وفاتكم بثلث أموالكم زيادة لكم في أعمالكم
Its chain is daif. Bayhaqi reported it (6/269) from the hadith of Talha bin Amr, similarly, and Busiri graded it daif because of Talha, as mentioned earlier, hadith 857. Uqba bin Abdullah al-Asamm followed him, narrating from Ataa, similarly, as found in Abu Naeem's Hilyah (3/322). Uqba is daif (Taqrib). The hadith has several routes, all of them daif.
