I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no man who suffers an injury to any part of his body and then gives it as charity except that Allah raises him a degree by it or wipes away a sin from him by it." My ears heard it, and my heart retained it.
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن يونس بن أبي إسحق عن أبي السفر قال
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ما من رجل يصاب بشيء من جسده فيتصدق به إلا رفعه الله به درجة أو حط عنه به خطيئة سمعته أذناي ووعاه قلبي
[Its chain is daif. Tirmidhi narrated it in the Book of Diyat, chapter on what has been said about pardon, hadith 1393, from the hadith of Yunus, with the same wording.Saeed bin Yahmad Abu Safar al-Kufi is trustworthy, but he narrated this as a mursal report from Abu Darda, as mentioned in Tahdhib and elsewhere, so the chain is disconnected.
