I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his hands until I could see the whiteness of his armpits, saying, "Indeed, no mother shall be held liable for the crime of her child. Indeed, no mother shall be held liable for the crime of her child."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن يزيد بن أبي زياد حدثنا جامع بن شداد
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يرفع يديه حتى رأيت بياض إبطيه يقول ألا لا تجني أم على ولد ألا لا تجني أم على ولد
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Daraqutni narrated it, 3/43, 44, from the hadith of Ibn Numayr with the same chain, at greater length. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih in Mawarid, no. 1683, as did Hakim, 2/611, 612, and Dhahabi, and Busiri noted it, 2/611, 612. Fadl bin Musa narrated it from Yazid bin Ziyad bin Abu Jaad, from Abu Sakhr Jami bin Shaddad, from Tariq bin Abdullah Muharibi, with the same wording.
