The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever kills his slave, we will kill him, and whoever mutilates him, we will mutilate him."
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا وكيع عن سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن قتادة عن الحسن
قال رسول الله ﷺ من قتل عبده قتلناه ومن جدعه جدعناه
[Hasan] Narrated by Abu Dawud in "Diyat," chapter "Whoever kills his slave or disfigures him, is retribution taken from him?" no. 4517, through the route of Saeed, with this wording, and Shubah and others corroborated him (Abu Dawud, no. 4515, and Tirmidhi graded it hasan, no. 1414, and Hakim said it meets the criterion of Bukhari, 4/367, and Dhahabi agreed with him).Hasan reported it from Samura, hasan, previously mentioned, and he graded it sahih.
