A man bit another man on his forearm, and when the bitten man pulled his arm away, the biter's front tooth fell out. The matter was brought before the Prophet ﷺ, and he declared no compensation due for the tooth, saying, "Does one of you bite like a stallion?"
حدثنا علي بن محمد حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير عن سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن قتادة عن زرارة بن أوفى
أن رجلا عض رجلا على ذراعه فنزع يده فوقعت ثنيته فرفع إلى النبي ﷺ فأبطلها وقال يقضم أحدكم كما يقضم الفحل
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Blood Money, in the chapter "If a Man Bites Another and His Front Teeth Fall Out," no. 6892, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Qasamah and Warfare, in the chapter "One Who Assaults a Person and Bites Him, When the One Attacked Repels Him," no. 1673, from the hadith of Qatada with this chain, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly.
